ILP "Participation" - Twitter conversation

For my blog participation activity, I took part in an education-related twitter chat. I tweeted to a teacher account that I personally find very interesting and I asked them a question. I tried to make the question about technology in the classroom and then I waited for her answer. She responded with a lot of great comments that were very helpful. I really enjoy using this twitter account to better my knowledge of the teaching twitter community. I have attached a picture of the conversation below.

                      Unfortunately, I have very limited experience with technology and I hope to feel more comfortable using it after this semester. I have never taken a computer course like this one before so I am a little unsure of what will be expected of me. However, I do have a smart phone, a laptop, and I am very involved with social media. Above is the video that I created for the "Design"individual learning project number 2. I decided to use a digital video editing tool, iMovie, to create an educational video. The video is about the fifty states of the United States and the audience is intended for elementary school students that are learning about the states.

Blog 1

           Technology is constantly progressing, as well as benefitting our society. Technology makes certain things in life much easier to accomplish. That being said, Teaching is can be achieved without technology but the use of it in a classroom makes it much easier. Technology allows teachers to use creative and very efficient techniques while teaching their class, ultimately making the students education better. Not only does technology allow teachers to do their jobs more effectively, it also benefits the students. Without the current use of technology in the classroom, students would be lacking a tremendous amount of helpful resources.
